17.4 also adds asymmetrical trimming, improved automatic color management, new Resolve FX, support for Steinberg VST3 audio plugins, the ability to export YouTube video chapters, and more. Not only does this software update add support for Apple MacBook Pro models with M1 Pro and M1 Max chips, but it also includes improvements to subtitling such as support for more languages and layouts with Text+.
